COLUMBUS, Ohio – A woman is in jail in Parkersburg, W.Va., awaiting extradition on murder and other charges in connection with a would-be abduction and robbery that went wrong on the Hilltop in April.
Heather Jarvis was arrested in Parkersburg on Thursday on multiple charges for her role in the incident, which left Larry Mausali dead, Det. Chad Williams of the Columbus Police Homicide Unit said.
On April 25, Jarvis, 22, and Mausali, 24, allegedly abducted Kenneth Owens at gunpoint and forced him to withdraw money from an ATM, but Owens pulled his own handgun and shot Mausali to death near the intersection of Hague and Sutton Avenues.
A grand jury on Tuesday indicted Jarvis on charges of murder, aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary, felony tampering with evidence, and kidnapping, Williams said.
