COLUMBUS – One year after 3-month-old Annalise Murphy died, a Columbus woman was arrested and charged with her death.
Amie Wright, 38, was arrested Friday charged with one count of involuntary manslaughter in connection with the death of the infant on Jan. 24, 2019, according to Homicide Unit detectives.
The child died at Nationwide Children’s Hospital two days after she was brought in in critical condition.
On July 3, the Franklin County Coroner’s Office ruled the death a homicide. Reportedly, the child had suffered head injuries at Wright’s Sun Valley Drive home, police said.
