Woman hits man, building with minivan during argument

COLUMBUS – A woman is charged with felonious assault after hitting a man with her minivan during an argument in a Southeast Side apartment complex Tuesday.

Columbus police say Alaisia Rozelle, 26, and Shawn Cook, 43, were engaged in a heated argument in front of a townhome on James Rouse Boulevard at approximately 10:45 a.m. when Rozelle got behind the wheel of her 2007 Chrysler Pacifica, backed the vehicle up and drove directly at Cook, striking him in the leg.

Rozelle, continued on and struck the front of an apartment, causing extensive damage, said Det. Wayne Wright of the Columbus police Domestic Violence Unit.
Several people were inside the apartment but Wright says no one was seriously injured.

Columbus Division of Fire personnel responded to the scene along with the American Red Cross to assist the other victims, Wright said.
