COLUMBUS – One woman was killed and another injured in a shooting in North Linden early Thursday.
Columbus police say Amanda Gardner was sitting at the front of the house in the 1300 block of Republic Avenue at approximately 2:00 a.m. when she was shot by an unknown suspect.
Gardner, 38, was pronounced dead at Grant Medical Center, according to detectives with the Homicide Unit.
Dominique Wynn, 41, was also injured as a result of the shooting but required no medical treatment, police said.
The incident is still under investigation.
This is the 64th homicide of 2019 in Columbus.
