Woman struck by car on West Side dies 2 weeks later

COLUMBUS – A woman who lost one of her daughters and her unborn child has died more than two weeks after she and her children were struck by a car while crossing a busy West Side street.

Tiffany Bronson and her two daughters, Emily and Elizabeth Ashbrook, were struck by a car driven by a Galloway man while crossing Roberts Road near Hickory Mill Drive, west of the intersection of Roberts and Hilliard-Rome Road on April 11.

Emily Ashbrook died of her injuries and Bronson’s fetus was still born following an emergency Caesarian section.

Bronson died Sunday at Grant Medical Center, Sgt. Brooke Wilson of the Accident Investigation Unit said.

No charges have been filed against the driver of the car.
