REYNOLDSBURG, Ohio – Police in Reynoldsburg are treating the death of a woman whose body was found in a field behind a school as a homicide.
The body of Danielle Michaels, 18, was found in a field near Reynoldsburg High Schools’ Summit Road campus, 8579 Summit Road, around 5:30 p.m. Monday, prompting school officials to cancel classes Tuesday at the high school, Encore Academy and eSTEM Academy and at Summit Road STEM Elementary.
Investigators say Michaels suffered several injuries, but the cause of death has not been released.
Police say Michaels was a resident of Reynoldsburg who took online classes but was not a student of the high school.
