COLUMBUS – An argument between two would-be criminals ended with one of them shooting his partner in the leg early Tuesday, Columbus police said.
William Jarman and the suspect were about to commit a criminal act just before 3:00 a.m. when they became engaged in an argument about how to proceed and the suspect pulled a handgun and shot Jarman, 31, once in each leg, according to Det. Ian Pruitt of the Felony Assault Unit.
The shooting happened at an address in the 4300 block of Northview Court on the Far West Side.
Police did not identify the suspect or release the type of criminal act the two were planning.
