Young remains a Buckeye

COLUMBUS (AP) — Ohio State forward Kyle Young is coming back for another season with the Buckeyes.

He decided to take advantage of the extra year of eligibility afforded by the NCAA because of COVID-19.

Young suffered two concussions in the last three weeks of the season.

He was forced to leave the Big Ten tournament quarterfinal win over Purdue after scoring a career-high 18 points in the first half.

Without him, the second-seeded Buckeyes were upset by 15th-seeded Oral Roberts in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
