COLUMBUS, Ohio – Traffic was moving this morning on U.S. Route 23 through Franklin County, but it was a different story last night after two deadly crashes.
A Columbus man was killed when his pickup rear-ended a malfunctioning car on I-270 near Route 23 on the North Side yesterday evening.
Authorities say a woman was trying to maneuver her SUV to the highway shoulder when it was hit by Curtis Hicks.
A second crash within an hour on Route 23 claimed the life of a driver near Scioto Downs.
The victim of the second wreck was not identified overnight.
