COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine is in receipt of a petition calling for charges to be dropped against the Steubenville whistleblower.
Some 200,000 people signed a petition asking for charges to be dropped against Deric Lostutter.
He faces 10 to 25 years in jail for exposing the case via social media.
In comparison, the two Steubenville High School football players convicted of rape will spend one-to-two years behind bars.
