COLUMBUS, Ohio – Franklin County Sheriff’s detectives say a man who allegedly held up a West Side bank may be hiding out in Lancaster.
Joseph Miller, 27, has been charged with aggravated robbery in connection with a holdup at the US Bank branch at Westland Mall Monday afternoon, Sheriff Zach Scott said.
The robbery was caught on surveillance cameras and several tipsters called in to say Miller was the man who handed a note implying that he had a weapon and demanding cash to the teller at the bank branch at 4200 Shoppers Lane in Franklin Township around 1:00 p.m. Monday, Scott said.
Scott says Miller is also a suspected of burglarizing a home in Lithopolis and may be in the Lancaster area.
Miller is described as white, 5’8”/175 lbs. with brown hair and blue eyes.
