Browns, Bengals among least expensive NFL teams

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Browns and Bengals are among the least expensive NFL franchises, though a league franchise will still you back about a billion dollars.

Running back Trent Richardson will make his debut when the Browns play their second preseason game tonight hosting the Lions.

Cleveland is 22nd on a “Forbes Magazine” list of the NFL’s most valuable franchises. The team is worth $1.005 billion.

At $924 million, the Bengals are 27th.

The Cowboys top the list at an estimated $2.3 billion. The Oakland Raiders came in last at $825 million. The average value of an NFL franchise is now $1.17 billion.
