CPD/CCAD collaborate on anti-bullying video

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Columbus police and the Columbus College of Art and Design are teaming up to take a stand against bullying.

They’ve produced an anti-bullying video called “It Takes Courage, Columbus,” encouraging lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender youth to stay strong in the face of harassment, Cmdr. Rhonda Grizzell said.

You can see the video on the Columbus police website.

Grizzell says the video will be used as a public service announcement on the Columbus Division of Police webpage and other participating websites.

“It Takes Courage, Columbus” will premiere on Friday, June 7, at 6:30 p.m. in the Canzani Auditorium, 60 Cleveland Avenue, on the CCAD campus.

The division is planning  to produce more anti-bullying videos, Grizzell said.
