Crossroads bridge opens early

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Another milestone was reached on the Columbus Crossroads Project Sunday when the revamped interchange’s largest bridge opened to traffic.

The project’s longest bridge opened ahead of schedule. It carries two lanes of 670 east bound traffic out of downtown and up and over 71.

Drivers who want to go eastbound on I-670 must be on the new bridge. Motorists will not be able to get to I-71 north or south from the big bridge, Burton said.
