COLUMBUS, Ohio – Drivers in southern Delaware County will notice more lane restrictions on state Route 750 Tuesday morning as the roadways will be narrowed to one westbound lane between Green Meadows Drive and U.S. route 23 in the early-morning hours.
The restriction will be in place from 4:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. while workers place barrier wall and restripe the road, work that is necessary as crews begin to build a right-turn-only lane on 750 (Powell Road) west to U.S. 23 north, according to officials with the Ohio Department of Transportation’s District 6.
Both westbound lanes will be open by 6:00 a.m. and, after Tuesday morning, there will be no additional impact to SR 750 since the work will be completed behind the barrier wall.
The driveway from Powell Road to the GetGo gas station will close temporarily for 30 days while the lane is constructed. The driveway to the gas station from U.S. 23 will remain open.
State Route 315, meanwhile, is closed in both directions between Jewett and West Orange roads while left turn lanes are installed in both directions at the Powell Road intersection.
Southbound travel on SR-315 will be detoured at US-23 south to I-270 west to SR-315.
Northbound travel on SR-315 will be detoured at I-270 east to US-23 north to SR-315.
Powell Road will remain open through the intersection, but there is no access to it from 315.
The project is scheduled to be completed on Nov. 16.
