COLUMBUS – A dispute between two men ended with the fatal shooting of one of them outside an Easy Side townhouse early Saturday, police said.
Terrance Flowers was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds outside the home of Anthony Evans in the 2000 block of Burwell Drive at 12:33 a.m. by officers responding to a report of an attempted break-in at the address, according to Sgt. Doug Jones of the Homicide Unit.
Flowers, 30, was transported to a hospital where he died at 2:57 a.m.
The preliminary investigation indicates that the men knew each other and there was a conflict between them prior to the shooting outside Evans’ home.
Evans, 26, was charged with murder, Jones said.
The investigation continues.
This is the 33rd homicide of 2020 in Columbus.
