COLUMBUS, Ohio – A man wanted in connection with bank robberies in downtown Columbus and in Indiana was arrested at a home on the Hilltop yesterday afternoon.
Columbus SWAT officers arrested Allen Hanuscak at the home on Belvidere Avenue on an escape warrant stemming from a bank robbery in Elkhart, Ind., in 2010, Robbery Unit detectives said.
Hanuscak, 58, was also charged with one count of robbery for allegedly holding up the Huntington Bank branch on S. High Street downtown Monday, detectives said.
Charges are pending related to several other bank robberies, police said.
