Grandview woman murdered during robbery

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Grandview Heights police are investigating the city’s first murder in nearly 15 years.

The body of Jennifer Cooke, 35, was found inside her Woodhill Drive home Sunday night.

Investigators say there were signs of a robbery inside the house and Cooke’s car was missing.

Officers who went to check on Cooke just after 11:30 p.m. found her dead in an upstairs bedroom and evidence that there has been a robbery, public information officer Ofc. Ryan Starns said.

Cooke’s vehicle was found at another location.

Starns says there is no suspect.
