CLEVELAND (AP) — The Braves stormed back to beat the Indians 8-7 in the second game of a doubleheader and get a split.
The Braves trailed 7-0 after two innings but chipped away late and snapped a four-game losing streak.
Ronald Acuña Jr.’s two-run double highlighted Atlanta’s five-run rally in the ninth inning.
Cleveland won the opener 8-4 behind Corey Kluber’s strong outing.
All-Star shortstop Francisco Lindor went 1 for 5 in his season debut.
Lindor was activated from the injured list after missing the season’s first 18 games.
He had been sidelined since spraining an ankle near the end of spring training while recovering from a calf sprain.
