COLUMBUS, Ohio – Testimony resumes today in the trial of a man accused of planning the murder of his daughter-in-law.
Bill Inman is charged with aggravated murder for his role in the kidnapping, strangling and dumping of Summer Inman (above) in 2011.
Prosecutors will try to prove Inman killed Summer to end a custody fight with his son, but defense attorneys say convicted killer Will Inman did all the work and his father only cleaned up the mess.
Summer Inman, 25, disappeared from an alley in Logan and her body was found in a church septic tank in Nelsonville a week later.
Inman could face the death penalty if convicted of aggravated murder in the case.
The trial was moved from Logan to Chillicothe because extensive media coverage made seating an impartial jury difficult.
