REYNOLDSBURG, Ohio – Franklin County health officials say they’ve found the source of a Legionnaires’ disease outbreak that has now claimed five lives at a Reynoldsburg nursing home.
Tests on the Wesley Ridge Retirement Community’s water system linked the bacteria to the potable water system and a cooling tower for the facility’s heating system.
Nearly three-dozen people were sickened.
