COLUMBUS, Ohio – Columbus police have not identified any suspects in a fatal shooting Friday night on the Northeast Side.
Emmanuel Hamilton, 30, was found lying in the 2100 block of E. 5th Avenue by officers on patrol just before 8:30 p.m., homicide detectives said.
The officers were on patrol near E. 5th Avenue and Wellington Boulevard when they heard gunshots and found Hamilton lying outside, suffering from multiple wounds, investigators said.
He was pronounced dead a short time later at Grant Medical Center.
