Meyer: Braxton will start…”probably.”

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Braxton Miller is expected to start for the Buckeyes when they open their Big Ten football season against the Wisconsin Badgers at Ohio Stadium Saturday night.

The game kicks off at 8:00 p.m. and will be televised by ABC6.

Following Wednesday’s practice, head coach Urban Meyer said “Braxton will probably start. He had a really good day.”

Miller (above) hasn’t played in the last two games with an MCL sprain in his knee, but backup Kenny Guiton has come off the bench to lead OSU to three wins, setting a couple of school records in the process.

Meyer always hastens to say that he’s happy he has two quality quarterbacks.

Guiton is coming off three terrific games and back-to-back Big Ten offensive player of the week honors. But he likely is behind star Miller.

And Meyer says playing the two simultaneously is not an option.
