Meyer remembers Northwestern game vividly

COLUMBUS Ohio – The Buckeyes put their 17-game winning streak on the line tonight in Evanston, Ill., when they take on Northwestern.

The game kicks off at 8:00 p.m. on ABC6.

OSU head coach Urban Meyer may have fond memories of Ryan Field.

He certainly has vivid ones.

In his first season as a head coach, Meyer’s Bowling Green Falcons upset the Wildcats 43-42 on a two-point conversion in the game’s final minute.

“Coaches are weird ducks, man. I don’t know my address but I remember every play in that game,” Meyer told reporters this week.

The Buckeyes are 7-point favorites in a stadium where they have won 26 of 33 games but the Wildcats have won their first four games this season.
