Missing Cleveland boy recovered

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The statewide Amber Alert for an eight-year-old Cleveland boy has been cancelled and the child has been recovered.

Kevin Criss, Jr., was recovered safely in Huron after two men who
heard the alert spotted the suspect’s vehicle, called 911 and followed the car
until police arrived.

Charges are pending against the boy’s father, Kevin Criss, who’s accused of taking the child from a relative’s home on West Boulevard around 4:00 p.m.  Sunday with plans to take him to California.

The older Criss, 34, was described by police as a methamphetamine addict with paranoid, violent tendencies.
