ODU’s nation’s-best win streak now 12

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio Dominican’s football team had a chance to claim the longest winning streak in Division II college football Thursday night and left no question about it, dominating Findlay, 41-21, in front of a nationwide TV audience.

The Panthers rolled up 640 yards of total offense, including 381 on the ground on the way to its 12th straight victory.

The game was televised on CBS Sports Network as the Division II Game of the Week, ODU’s first appearance on national television.

Mark Nichols rushed for 273 yards on 31 carries and scored three times, while Mark Miller completed 27 of 31 passes for 259 yards and two touchdowns.

The Panthers (7-0, 6-0 GLIAC) rolled to a 31-7 halftime, racking up 440 yards of offense along the way.

The Panthers will have a chance to extend their streak to 13 games when they travel to Tiffin on Nov. 2.
