COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio is one of the more honest states in the nation, though not in the Top 10.
A survey by HONEST Tea ranked Ohio 17th with a 95 percent honesty rate, based on the number of people who paid for the company’s drinks on the honor system.
Alabama and Hawaii were ranked as the most honest, while Washington, D.C. was found to be the least honest.
The company set up kiosks and kept track of who was willing to pay $1 for a bottle of tea and who just stole it.
Overall, women are more honest than men, 95-91 percent.
Redheads were most honest last year but this year blonds grabbed the top spot, followed by brunettes and then redheads.
People with short hair were less honest than those with medium and long hair.
