Ohio could blaze brewery trail

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio tourism officials want to make the state’s craft-brewing industry an attraction for visitors.

They’re considering plans to create a “brewery trail,” offering tourists pathways to sample small-batch beers made by more than 100 breweries across Ohio.

The “Plain-Dealer” reports it would be similar to a new trail in Louisiana.

“I think it’s an awesome idea and I’m going to steal it,” said Pat Barker, assistant director of the office of OhioTourism.
