COLUMBUS, Ohio – Columbus police arrested a man who was drunk, speeding and driving the wrong way on the East Side overnight.
Police say the man was driving eastbound in the westbound lanes of I-670 at N. 4th Street when he was spotted just before 2:00 a.m.
After a 15-minute pursuit, police used stop sticks to halt the vehicle on I-270, south of I-70, at 2:09 a.m.
After stopping him, they determined he was drunk.
The driver’s identity had not been released early Thursday morning and there was no immediate word on charges.
