COLUMBUS, Ohio – A Columbus priest is being accused of sexually abusing a child.
Diocese of Columbus officials placed Father Ronald Atwood on leave yesterday from his ministry while he is investigated for alleged assaults in the 1970s.
Atwood is currently the pastor at St. Francis of Assisi Church and has been a priest in Columbus for 44 years.
