DAYTON, Ohio – The lead investigator of a plane crash in Ohio says a preliminary report would be published on the NTSB website in about a week. But Jason Aguilera also says the final cause determination could be months away.
The crash on Saturday at the Vectren Dayton Air Show killed two veteran stunt performers, wing-walker Jane Wicker, 46, and pilot Charles Schwenker, 64, both from Virginia.
He says views from different angles of the crash is crucial, and he encourages anyone who may have photos or video to make them available.
The probe will also include an autopsy and toxicology tests on Schwenker.
The 450 HP Stearman biplane is in a secure hanger at the Dayton airport.
