Serial bank robbery suspect

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Columbus police say a man who robbed a downtown bank branch yesterday is also a suspect in several other area holdups.

The man – described as white, 45-50 years old, with gray hair and wearing glasses — walked into the Huntington Bank at 139 S. High Street around 3:20 yesterday afternoon and demanded money from a teller, detectives said.

He walked out with cash and was last seen blending in with the crowd in the Columbus Commons Park, police said.

The suspect was wearing a blue denim long-sleeved shirt, jeans and a black baseball cap.
