BOSTON, Mass. – Former Buckeye basketball standout Jared Sullinger is in jail awaiting a hearing later today in connection with a domestic violence incident.
The Boston Celtics forward turned himself in to police this morning.
Boston TV station Fox25 reports Sullinger is charged with assault and battery, malicious destruction of property and witness intimidation.
The Ohio State product and Northland High School alumnus averaged six points and just under six rebounds a game as a rookie last season and is expected to be a major contributor this year.
