COLUMBUS, Ohio – Police are looking for a man and a teenage girl in connection with a violent robbery attempt on the Northeast Side Tuesday night.
Detectives say My Vien, 23, and Hanh Nguyen, 24, went to the United Dairy Farmer’s store at 4775 Sunbury Road at 8:00 p.m. to meet someone they thought was buying a computer they had offered for sale on Craigslist, according to Robbery Unit investigators.
As Vien and Nguyen stood outside the driver’s door and the man looked at the computer in the passenger seat, Evianah Dickerson suddenly gunned the engine, knocked Nguyen over and dragged Vien over 100 feet before she fell to the pavement, suffering numerous scrapes.
Dickinson and her companion drove southbound on Sunbury Road in Dickinson’s black 1995 Chevy Caprice. Detectives say the car has damage to the right headlight. The car carries an Ohio tag: FUW-2437.
Police are asking anyone who sees the car to call police immediately.
