COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ashley Adams tallied a double-double as the Buckeyes beat Illinois 64-53 at Assembly Hall Thursday night.
Tayler Hill led the way with 21 points while Adams scored 17 and pulled down 10 rebounds. Darryce Moore was the only other OSU player in double figures with 12 points.
Ohio State (16-12, 6-9) pulled away during the closing minutes of the first half and never alllowed the Illini (16-11, 9-6) 33-27 closer than four points in the second half.
