Beth Dolce

“If it doesn’t challenge you, it won’t change you.” That is the quote that Beth Dolce lives by each day. Beth is a fitness coach and consultant and has a fitness program called Body Performance Training Series which caters predominantly to women. The fitness program emphasizes and honors the importance of balanced living for desired fitness and health results through safe and effective strength training and exercise, mindful nutrition choices, and healthy social and personal relationships. “We provide support and the tools necessary to make educated life choices in both fitness and health. Creating higher quality of life by building a strong confident body.”

When Beth is not running her Body Performance Training Series, she volunteers her fitness expertise for an Ohio State organization called CHAARG (Changing Health, Attitudes, & Actions to Recreate Girls). CHAARG aims to ignite a passion in college-aged girls for health and fitness. They liberate girls from the elliptical and show them that fitness can and should be fun. There are currently chapters at 14 universities, including Ohio State. “I offer fitness classes annually to their club members to help support the CHAARG cause of promoting fitness and wellness to college women.”

Beth says that she has always been a self-starter and that the driving force behind her entrepreneurial spirit is always being able to express her creativity through her work. She is most proud of her professional accomplishments and Beth believes that “I can wake up every day loving what I GET to do not what I HAVE to do. The moments I recognize I am learning and allowing growth best defines me. Working with so many different individuals allows for opportunities to learn from others which is my favorite joy in life!” Beth also says that she has a fantastic support system. “The people I surround myself with daily are positive influences that inspire me every day. I have been blessed with an amazing mentor, Jack Mougin, who has believed in me and given me the opportunity to change lives. Jack has played a pivotal role in my education in the fitness field and has demonstrated patience allowing me to grow as an individual throughout my career.”

To find balance in her life, Beth takes a lot of personal “time outs.” Over the years she has learned the importance of slowing down, not only to rest her body but also her mind. “This down time allows me to recover physically and mentally so I am at my best to serve my clients and appreciate my loved ones.”

Beth’s ultimate goal in life is to continue to be better today than she was yesterday. Her plans for the future are to share her knowledge and experience with other aspiring fitness professionals to continue to build a positive awareness around fitness and health coaching and the impact they can have on addressing issues of obesity, diabetes, general wellness and overall enjoyment of life.
