Rachel Malek is not only a Rising Star but a National Honor Society Member, GRIT award winner for integrity, and community volunteer…oh yeah and her GPA is over 4.0! Rachel always has a positive attitude at school. Rachel gives back to her community. She has raised $1000 for the Humane Society of Delaware County by designing stickers and t-shirts and making sandwiches to feed the homeless. In her spare time, she enjoys art including painting, drawing, and ceramics, which she also plans on studying at Otterbein University along with psychology. Rachel received a $1,000 grant for her favorite cause from Easterseals and a College Savings Award from Ohio’s 529 Plan, CollegeAdvantage.
