Sunny 95 Spring Spruce Up Official Contest Rules
Sunny 95 and Mix 107.9 listeners 18 and over who own their home may enter at Sunny95.com or MyMix1079.com for the“Spring Spruce Up” Sweepstakes by providing their, full name, home address, birth date, email address, and phone number between Monday, 6am on April 10, 2023, and Sunday, 11:59pm on April 30, 2023. No purchase necessary. One (1) entry per homeowner per station for a total of two (2) possible entries. Submitting more than one entry per person will invalidate all entries by that contestant. Any attempt by any participant to obtain more than the stated number of entries allowed by using the same, multiple/different email addresses, identities, or any other methods void that participant’s entries, and that participant may be disqualified. in the event of a dispute as to any online registration, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address used to register will be deemed to be the registrant and he/she must be eligible according to these official rules. No mechanically reproduced or automated entries permitted. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification and all such entries will be deemed void. The winner will be chosen at the sole discretion of Sunny 95 and Mix 107.9.
At approximately 9:00am on Monday, May 1, 2023, one (1) winner will be randomly selected from among all qualified entries by a representative of Sunny 95 and Mix 107.9 staff. The winner will be contacted by phone to confirm their Prize on Monday, May 1, 2023. The winner’s name and city of residence will be displayed on the contest pages at Sunny95.com and MyMix107.9.com and may be shared on each station’s social media accounts. The Prize consists of:
- Winner’s choice of 6 cubic yards (total) of topsoil or mulch delivered from Jones Topsoil valued up to $400.00. Jones Topsoil requires that winner must live within a 50-mile radius of Columbus.
- $200 in-store credit from Wilson’s Garden Center located at 10923 Lambs Ln. Newark, OH 43055.
The total approximate retail value of the Prize is $600.00.
This contest is being conducted concurrently and simultaneously with radio stations in Columbus, Ohio affiliated with Columbus Radio Group, and listeners of said stations will then be competing to win the same prize.
We will make reasonable efforts to award the Prize within 30 days after winning. The winner will be responsible for any applicable federal and state taxes as well as all fees associated with the prize. Winner must have a valid state ID and complete an IRS Form W-9 to collect the prize. In the event that the prize winner declines acceptance of any of the prizes, prizes are not transferrable or redeemable for cash. Sunny 95 and Mix 107.9’s sole responsibility will be to award the prize and will have no further responsibility in connection with the prize if the prize winner, for any reason, cannot or decides not to use the prize.
The winner must produce proof of homeownership prior to collecting the prize. Failure to prove ownership will result in a forfeiture of the prize and a new winner may be named. Individuals with a lease, hold interest, option to purchase, or unfulfilled land contract may not qualify. Entrants may be disqualified by Sunny 95 or Mix 107.9 for any perceived violation of these rules.
Sunny 95 and Mix 107.9 contests are open to all eligible central Ohio listeners 18 or older that have not won anything on Sunny 95 or Mix 107.9 in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.
Employees of Sunny 95, Mix 107.9, Columbus Radio Group, Franklin Communications, Inc. and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one-hundred-mile radius of the Sunny 95 and Mix 107.9 main studios are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is the current legal guardian.
