Everyone say hello to our April Teacher of the Month, Dena Elgeziri!
Miss Dena is one sincere and dedicated teacher! She teaches 5th grade language arts and social studies at Sunrise Academy in Hilliard and is constantly educating her students about EMPATHY towards others, diversity, equity and tolerance.
She’s planned field trips to Washington D.C. and Philadelphia, and worked extremely hard to fundraise money so students and their families wouldn’t feel burdened by the cost to send their kids on such educational trips. Miss Dena has made a significant difference is countless students’ lives over the years!
