COLUMBUS, Ohio – A 14-year-old boy has been charged with the shooting death of a 64-year-old man in a Southeast Side apartment complex Monday night.

Detectives say Joseph Reeder shot Anthony Hines to death during an apparent robbery attempt just before 6:00 p.m. at Reeder’s home at 3999 Elaine Place South.

Reeder is charged with murder, aggravated robbery and tampering with evidence, homicide detectives.
