COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s ice hockey team returns to action this weekend when they host Ferris State in a best-of-three Central Collegiate Hockey Association Tournament quarterfinal.
Games are scheduled for 7:05 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday if necessary in the OSU Ice Rink.
The winner advances to the CCHA semifinals in Detroit next week.
Buckeye senior goalie Brady Hjelle is a finalist for CCHA Player of the Year honors, while head coach Mark Osiecki is a finalist for the league’s coach of the year honor, the league announced Thursday.
The winners will be announced at the CCHA Awards March 22 at historic Fox Theater in downtown Detroit.
