COLUMBUS, Ohio – Winter is making a not-so-friendly return to central Ohio.
The National Weather Service says Arctic air will drive temperatures down into the teens this afternoon, with single-digit overnight lows.
Forecasters expect dangerous wind chills, with readings between 10- and 15-degrees below zero.
A wind chill advisory will be in effect from 8:00 tonight until 10:00 a.m. tomorrow.
Everyone is being reminded to be smart in dangerously cold temperatures.
Local health officials say residents should try to stay indoors as much as possible, but dress in layers if they must venture out.
People should check on elderly neighbors and limit their pets’ exposure to the cold.
