COLUMBUS, Ohio – More security cameras are going up in Columbus.
City Council voted last night to install nine cameras downtown, including Genoa Park, North Bank Park and the corner of Broad and Front streets.
Officials are fast-tracking the cameras to protect the public in the aftermath of the Boston Marathon bombings.
The cameras will be running by Red, White-and-Boom in July.
