COLUMBUS, Ohio – Another state lawmaker is under suspicion.
“The Dispatch” reports State Representative Peter Beck is under investigation by the Ohio Department of Commerce for his role in a shady investment deal.
The newspaper reports Beck is being targeted for allegedly fleecing investors of more than $1 million dollars.
Beck’s attorney claims he had no role in the scheme, but a lawsuit filed against the Mason Republican claims Beck acted as a consultant on the deal.
