Missing teen phones home

COLUMBUS, Ohio – A Northwest Side teenager missing since Sunday afternoon is back home.

Evan Bradley Smith contacted members of his family after he saw a story about the search for him on the news, Columbus police said.

A family member picked him up and brought him home safely.

Evan was last seen walking on Sawmill Road, near Cranston Avenue and the Meijer store, around 4:00 p.m. Sunday.
