Safelite expansion to add 350 jobs

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Dozens of new jobs are coming to central Ohio as a result of a planned expansion of a vehicle glass company at its Northwest Side facility.

The Safelite Group will expand its headquarters on Farmers Drive to add call center jobs and corporate office positions.

Officials of the auto glass company say the first of 350 new jobs will likely be added next year with the rest being phased in over the next three years, “contingent upon approval on incentives from the City of Columbus and State of Ohio,” according to a company press release.

Safelite Group, based in Columbus, has been in business since 1947.
