COLUMBUS, Ohio – Governor John Kasich will pitch his major policies tonight when he delivers his annual State of the State Address.
The governor will speak to state lawmakers in Lima, to promote the improved employment in the area since he took office.
This is the second time he has delivered the annual speech in a location other than the Statehouse.
Kasich’s camp says the speech will cover his budget, tax reform and new school funding plans.
The two-year budget proposal he submitted earlier this month included cuts to income and small-business taxes while expanding the state sales tax to include a number of services previously exempt.
The budget also includes an expansion of Medicaid.
