Tiger commits to Memorial

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Fresh off his victory at the The Players Championship, Tiger Woods has committed to playing in the 38th Memorial Tournament later this month.

The world’s top-ranked golfer will return to Muirfield Village Golf Club for the 14th time, to defend his 2012 title and try to add to his record five Memorial victories.

Tournament officials say they have also received commitments from international superstars Lee Westwood and Luke Donald.

The Memorial Tournament is May 27-June 2 at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin.

Woods, 37, chipped in for birdie on last year’s 70th hole for his fifth victory at Muirfield.
