The Ascalon Sword Festival is a celebration of the artistry and history of sword sports. The event features Olympic and historical fencing tournaments, armored combat, a prize fight, and opportunities all weekend long to try fencing yourself, en garde!
The Ascalon Sword Festival makes its debut March 11-13, 2022, at the Ohio Expo Center, Kasich Hall. All portions of the event are free for spectators to attend. The entire hall will be filled with non-stop action including 41 fencing strips, 8 combative rings for armored battle and a featured Saturday night prize fight. Be sure to bring the entire family, as many entertaining demonstrations from spinning sabers to light sabers and free try fencing classes will take place throughout the weekend.
