The Columbus Symphony invites central Ohio families to celebrate the spooky holiday with their annual “Halloween Spooktacular” family concert.
At 2 pm, pre-concert activities include a pumpkin decorating contest (bring a carved pumpkin), trick-or-treating, and spooky crafts and activities such as dancing, contests with prizes, musical tattoos, and instruments to play in the lobby of the historic Ohio Theatre. Attendees are encouraged to dress up in their favorite costumes.
At 3 pm, Associate Conductor Andrés Lopera leads the ghoulishly dressed Columbus Symphony musicians in a 45-minute, frightfully fun Halloween-themed concert that offers popular and spooky selections from the worlds of classical and pop, programmed especially for kids ages 2-10.
